Esper Dream (エスパードリーム?) – an action role-playing video game for the Family Computer Disk System that was published by Konami on February 20, 1987 in Japan only.

“Esper Dream” was released on February 20, 1987. It’s an action RPG set in a somewhat mysterious world, where you use your supernatural powers to fight against enemies. This work, which has a unique atmosphere with a world view created with attention to detail and haunting music, remains popular as a masterpiece that remains in the hearts of many people.

This game is set in a world straight out of a fairy tale. There will be stages that look like scenes from fairy tales, such as the “Giant House,” where everything including chairs and desks are large, and the “Crystal Castle,” which is made entirely of crystal. Also, the way you encounter enemies is a little different, and when you touch the moving footprints, a battle with the enemy will begin. Let’s advance the story while solving various mysteries in a fairy tale-like world where even battles with enemies are cute.

A sequel, Esper Dream 2 Aratanaru Tatakai (エスパードリーム2 新たなる戦い, lit. “Esper Dream 2: New Battle), was released for the Family Computer on June 26, 1992.
