Ultima – series of nine computer role-playing games, the action of which takes place in a mystical land full of monsters, dragons, where you can meet intelligent races such as humans, dwarves, gargoyles and elves.
The first version of the game (Ultima: The First Age of Darkness) was released on June 15, 1980 and enjoyed great success among fans of fantasy themes. The interest led to the creation of subsequent versions of the game, up to the last one – Ultima IX: Ascension. Based on the saga, one of the first (apart from MUDs) MMORPG games was also created – Ultima Online.
