Wine-Doors – an application designed to help install, uninstall and work around the caveats associated with windows applications. Wine-Doors is an alternative to WineTools which aims to improve upon WineTools’ features and extend on the original idea with a more modern design approach.

Wine-doors is essentially a package management tool for windows software on Linux systems. Most Linux desktop users are familiar with package management style application delivery, so it made sense to apply this model to windows software.

Wine-doors is developed and styled to fit in with the GNOME desktop but is fairly portable and a user interface could be developed for KDE.

Wine-Doors is licensed under the GNU general public license and utilities resources from the Tango Project.

The last version is 0.4.1b1 released March 17, 2013.
