4D Sports Boxing – a computer sports game based on a 3D vector engine, developed by Distinctive Software Inc. and published by Mindscape and Electronic Arts. The game is a sports game where the player takes on the role of a boxer. Along with 4D Sports Driving (Stunts) and 4D Sports Tennis, it is part of the 4D Sports series.

The game can be played solo in training or career mode, or with a second, live player.

4D Sports Boxing allows you to take on the role of a professional boxer and manage their career through a lifetime of constant fights in the ring. To begin, you can “build” your fighter by specifying their gender, body type (height, weight), determining whether they are left- or right-handed, and choosing the one that seems most suitable from a pre-made face set. The created boxer is added to a database of all “live” fighters who can participate in fights (so you can pursue multiple boxing careers simultaneously). With each win, the boxer advances in the rankings. Before the fight, there is a training session where you can decide which element to emphasize most: speed, strength, or endurance. Regardless of your choice, the fourth indicator – the overall indicator – always increases.

During the fight, a wide range of punches is available. Each boxer is described by three indicators that reflect their fitness. In career mode, each fight lasts a certain number of rounds. Initially, there are three, but as you advance, more and more rounds will be added. Between rounds, you can check the statistics screen to see how many punches were thrown, how many landed, and how many times your opponent was knocked down. All of this influences the overall rating and score, which, unless a knockout occurs first, will determine the winner. Regardless of a fighter’s physical condition, being knocked down three times in a single round constitutes a technical knockout.

The fight is powered by a 3D engine. It features camera switching (the fight is played from the ring spectator’s perspective or from the boxer’s perspective) and the ability to save the fight.
