Crystal Warriors (Ariel Crystal Legend) – a video game developed and published by Sega for the Game Gear in Japan in 1991.
Ariel Crystal Legend is a turn-based simulation game that appeared on Game Gear in 1991. The simple system for portable game consoles and the cute characters created by manga artist Kutsukihime were well received. The virtual console version supports local play, and you can enjoy wireless two-player battle play.
Set in a world of swords and magic, this is the story of Princess Ellis and her friends confronting Gram, the magician of the Gark Empire, who has invaded to steal the four crystals. The player takes on the role of Eris, Princess of Auriel, and commands her fellow characters such as warriors, mages, and priests to fight against the Gark Empire, a powerful enemy that threatens the continent. Each character has four attributes, and it features a simple yet deep strategy that makes full use of effects such as “fire is weak against water but advantageous against wind”.
