Pilotwings – a flight simulation video games created by the Nintendo EAD. The series was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (Super NES), Nintendo 64, and Nintendo 3DS.
Goals:
– Fly a plane, rocket belt, or hang glider through over 40 missions, or for free flying fun
– Use your Mii™ character and explore Wuhu Island from the Wii Sports Resort™ game
– Take amazing in-game 3D photos, and save them to your Nintendo 3DS photo album
Mission Flight Mode gives you the chance to test your piloting skills in over 40 high-flying missions in a plane, rocket belt, or hang glider. Every mission falls into classes of varying difficulty—starting with the ease of Training class, and moving all the way up through Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Depending on the mission, you may find yourself shooting targets, going for a perfect landing, or putting out campfires. Select missions will even have you snapping 3D photos in flight! No matter what the objective, you’ll be taking the scenic route throughout Wuhu Island.
The first version of Pilotwings was released December 21, 1990, and the last one Pilotwings Resort March 25, 2011.
