Tetris Party – a puzzle game video game released in 2008 on Wii. The game was developed and published by Hudson Soft. It continues the famous Tetris series. The game was adapted for Nintendo DS under the title Tetris Party Deluxe.

Tetris party brings you back to that classic time of the Gameboy. Its green/black scale with wonderful music swept the nation as well as our hearts. Well Tetris is back and this time it is going full force on WiiWare. But with the Wii having such a small space to put your downloadable titles on, it’s time to clear off some space to make sure this gem fits. Tetris Party brings all the things you would want out of a Tetris game to the Wii with some nice added modes.

Tetris Party includes numerous types of game play modes like a team and free-for-all six player local play, a new take on the puzzle Tetris formula, Mr. Driller-like level-building Field Climber mode, a new form of competitive, turn-based play with Shadow Tetris, and even a beginner’s Tetris mode, and for all you Wii Fit owners out there the balance board also throws its hat into the ring. While not being the best added feature to move your pieces it’s definitely worth taking note it’s there. On top of all these modes the options are worth peeking into as well with the in-game achievements making you strive for excellence as well as stats after matches and items to use.
