MadNES – the Nintendo Entertainment System emulator.

MadNES is an emulator created by Roberto Rosario.
This is an Acorn port by David McEwen, version 0.10 (09/01/99).

Improvements over original source:
– Front end
– A few extra mappers
– A fix to the CPU core so it won’t bail out with unknown opcodes.

This is a port of Roberto’s up and coming NES emulator. It is very kewl and is very accurate in most respects. the source that this version is ported from is quite old, but it still shows off a lot of nice emulation features, such as full support for sprite priorities and primitive support for light gun emulation.

This emulator always uses a 320 x 256 mode.
